At this point we are not taking any more applications for Georgie. A breed experienced woman in Calgary will be adopting her shortly, and she will be flying out later this week!
Georgie is a 2 year old spayed female purebred, AKC registered minature bull terier. She is having to find a new home because her Dad is facing serious health issues, leaving him unable to care for her. Georgie has always been well-loved and cared for. She is house-trained, and knows basic commands, although she could use further training. She is good with dogs and cats, but due to the breed's tendency for same-sex aggression, she will not be placed in a home with another female dog. Georgie loves people, but as is typical of bull terriers she is a pushy dog who loves to get her way if she is given a chance. Therefore, she is looking for a breed experienced home that can set clear boundaries for her so she does not feel the need to take charge.
