Hello there, my name is Georgia, and I must say, I'm a peach of a gal! I have the most gorgeous black fur and warm, soulful eyes that simply sparkle (photos really don't do me justice!). With a proud strut and weighing a solid 75 pounds, I'm a curvy girl who's had a recent hip fix, courtesy of the amazing WRW. Thanks to them, I walk with confidence and grace. There's nothing I enjoy more than leisurely walks on tree-lined streets, where I can watch squirrels scamper about. I'm a pretty quiet girl, unless I'm trying to negotiate for more treats, which I absolutely adore! Lounging on the floor, basking in the sun on the deck, and having my hair brushed are some of my favorite pastimes. Being a nosy pup isn't my style, and I'm perfectly content roaming around the house. I have a heart full of love and get along well with people of all ages. When it comes to other dogs, I do best with those who have good manners and don't invade my personal space. Cats and chickens don't bother me one bit. I'm a loyal companion looking to find my forever home, and did I mention how much I love treats? Treats make me positively chatty, and I can't help but dance with joy! At a young and vibrant 4 years old, I still have so much love to give. Let me share a bit about my background: I was rescued from BARC (local high kill shelter) when I only had 20 minutes left on my clock. Can you believe they were going to put me down? I was pregnant, heartworm positive, and dealing with a bad hip. Thankfully, WRW and my incredible foster mom turned my world around. I was able to deliver six healthy babies whom I cared for until they found their own loving homes. Now that motherhood is behind me, I've been spayed, and my heartworm treatment is complete. I am now ready and available for adoption, and believe me, you don't want to miss out on me! I have overcome so much and have so much love to give.
