This beauty is Georgia, and she is a real peach!
Georgia recently came to us from a shelter. She's a stray, so everything we "know" about her is an educated guess: approximately 1 year old and maybe a Shepherd/Husky mix of some kind. However, if she's truly 1 year old then she's mixed with something a bit smaller as well, because she is a medium sized dog at barely 40 pounds.
Georgia has been with her foster family only a short time, but so far she appears house trained and kennel trained!
Georgia loves all people she has met and is a real social butterfly! When she was recently spayed at the vet we were told she was the staff favorite--she knows how to work a crowd <3 She also loves all dogs she's met so far. She is a bit of a rough and tumble player, so it would probably be best to avoid having her live with small dogs or very small children. She is sweet, but will chase and pounce and jump at times! She also "mouths" your wrist when she plays sometimes, which might upset a really small child. She's untested with cats, but would probably be too energetic with them, unless they are dog savvy cats.
Georgia loves to play fetch and frisbee! She settles down nicely inside and will quietly chew on toys or sit for pets. However she is young, and outside loves to run and play. Ideally she'd have a fenced yard at her forever home, or at least live with an active family who will ensure she gets her physical needs met each day.
If this sweet girl sounds perfect for you then apply at adoptapal.org. Applying does not commit you to anything, but is the first step to meeting her.
(And did we mention how photogenic this girl is?! She almost always has a smile on her face.)
