UPDATE 4/10/09
George has returned from his time in training! He has filled out more (from 61# to 97#) and grown a BEAUTIFUL sleek black coat. He is now growing into his features. He is a VERY, VERY large dog, but is an unbelievably gentle, and sometimes shy, soul. This dog wouldn't harm a flea! George is an absolute sweetheart just longing for that forever home that every last animal in this shelter is searching for. Please put an end to his long search and give him his second chance and forever home!
Update!!!!! 12/4/08
George has been selected to enter our prison program where he will under go extensive obedience and behavior training with special female inmates who have been taught by a dog behaviorist. These women recently returned 4 wonderfully behaved dogs, and we know George will come back just as great! We would all love for George to have a family waiting to welcome him into their home before he comes back to CAS!

George is just a sweetie pie! He will gently put his paws up on you while you pet his head and he kisses you. George walks great on a leash and is rather calm. He would make a great dog for any family!!! Please please come in and give this sweetie a home!
