My Story

General has very unusual coloring - dark red & white with a few black hairs sprinkled in. He was dumped at Cherokee county animal control by his owners. We were told that he's 6 years old, but he looks and acts younger - very active and playful. General is neutered and is up-to-date on shots. He had a hernia repaired when he was neutered and is doing well but is getting over a cold. He's housetrained with a dog door. This very handsome basset is one of those very special, gorgeous hounds who is easy to fall in love with. General must not have cats in his forver home, but he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and with kids. He really loves to play with toys and will empty the doggie toy box - spreading toys all over the room. General is also loveable, enjoys belly rubs, and likes to snuggle his head in your arms and lap. It will be a lucky family who'll add General to their home.
