He was saved by another rescue group in March of 2007. Due to not having a foster home to meet Gator's needs, Save Ohio Strays found room in one of their foster homes since he deserved the opportunity to thrive in a home environment. Gator is a young two year old boxer/hound/bull dog mix, that loves to be by your side. He enjoys playing fetch and tug of war. He is very intelligent and needs his mind to work along with physical activity. He has learned toys and playing are his "job" and does it quite well. Gator is an over grown puppy and needs a person that can handle his size and strength. Gator wants to please and will give you kisses and lay in your lap if you let him. He has learned basic obedience and behaves very well in the house. A fenced in yard would be best for Gator and/or many walks a day.
