How to Adopt Me: Contact us at [email protected] and ask for an ADOPTION APPLICATION Gabriel (Gabe) is a happy, outgoing, medium to low energy Black Lab (and perhaps Great Dane?) mix that behaves more like he is three years old than his actual age of 7. He loves people and looks forward to every minute he spends with you. Gabe loves to fetch (although he is not obsessed with it), play in the water, and go on car rides. He gets along very well with other dogs, but he would prefer to play or be with "his human" if given a choice. He is house trained, tolerates being kenneled (but that is not his favorite) and gets along well with dog-savvy cats. He is respectful of kitchen counters (no counter-surfing habits), and is NOT destructive if left on his own. Gabe's perfect home would have at least one person he can be with most of the day as he adores human company, and he would love to be allowed to sleep on the floor of his owner's bedroom in a nice soft dog bed. He is not in the habit of hopping up on furniture, and tries hard not to hop up on people either. In short, this boy is a GEM! Please consider giving this boy a home to live out his senior years, he is active and adventurous and would be a wonderful addition to any household. This boy knows how to relax when that is what is called for, but he is happy to join you in a run, hike or game of fetch at the drop of a hat! Gabe is neutered, microchipped up to date on shots, and just received a dental, so he is ready to go! His adoption fee is $120. HPHS supports spay/neutering of all pets. Adopt from us and your new pet is spayed or neutered. They are up to date with their shots as well. Discount spay/neuter vouchers are also available at the Second Chance Thrift Store. Income verification is necessary tp receive the voucher.
