Gabriel

Gabriel is a beautiful older Lab mix who weighs about 44 pounds at an estimated 7 years of age. This special boy was found as a stray in a barn in Tennessee. He needed to be nursed back to health over the past couple months from wounds, a limp and lack of food. Now Gabriel is the sweetest dog living a great life at his TN-based foster home! He loves his treats, getting lots of pats, and wearing t-shirts :). His foster mom especially wants everyone to know how much Gabriel loves his comfy shirts. Gabriel also does great with other dogs and with cats. Gabriel has been doing very well with his house, leash and crate training at his foster home. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
