Three months ago, I was rescued by a caring man who had planned to keep me forever. His circumstances changed, however, and sadly he was forced to find me a new home. I am about 2 years old, and am an “almost” purebred, beige and white, Staffordshire terrier (well one look at me and you know where my roots are!). Despite the (in most cases undeserved) “bad rap” that many of my kin have gotten, I am a sweet, gentle, tolerant, and loving girl who gets along well with other dogs and kids. I weigh in at almost 48 pounds now, so that’s about as big as I will get. The kind folks here have been giving me lots of shots, and pokes, and medicinal rubs to cure all those things that assailed me while I was wandering out there by myself, but pretty soon I’ll be completely healthy and oh-so-eager to get on with my life with a family that will love and care for me forever.
