FUJI

People ask how we choose the name for a stray...... In this case it was easy. This pretty little lady was found wondering South Mountain Reservation in the Mayapple Hill area. We think we see some Shiba Inu in her genetic makeup, so what else would we call her but after one of the many varities of apples with an added Asian twist. We called "Fuji", the little lady looked up, and the name stuck. Now if it would be so easy to find her a home. Fuji's a sweetie with a heart bursting with love. She loves attention, and going for walks with anyone holding the leash. She knows "sit", so someone in her happier past spent some time teaching her maners. And, we estimate she's only about a year or two old. ...If only she could talk and tell us where her family had disappeared to. Poor Fuji..... We've promised her a home, and we hope it's soon. Although she's adjusted well to life at the animal control facility, we hate seeing her stuck in a cage. A home would make her so much happier (and us too)..... >>>>>WONDERFUL NEWS!
