Fritz came to us from a MO shelter where there are over 100 dogs waiting for their forever homes. This boy has a great temperment, as you can tell in the photo is great with children and gets along with other dogs. He is unknown with cats, but upon reading more about Welch Terriers it is said that they are generally small prey driven so they may not do well with them.
Please do your research on the breeds as he is a great dog but may not be for everyone. Because he is of a hunting family he may be prone to getting bored and digging holes or barking at passers by in the window. He is approximately 2 years old and has been tested heartworm negative, neutered and up to date on all his vaccines.
His adoption fee is $200
**PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE TO THE CANISTEO AREA AS THAT IS WHERE HE IS BEING FOSTERED.**
Spay/Neuter (in some cases we have a waitlist to get into our vet so we do allow adoptions if you agree to spay/neuter within 30 days of adoption and you receive a $50 refund back after proof of s/n.

*We review and set up appointments to view our adoptable dogs ONLY After we have received an application (sorry no exceptions)
*We do not currently adopt our NY dogs out of state (we do have some dogs in CO & MI occasionally that can be adopted in their respective states)
*You will be subject to a home visit prior to approval of adopting a dog
*We do not adopt to homes with smoking indoors due to health concerns for the pets *We are ALWAYS in need of fosters or people willing to do foster-2-adopt programs with our needy dogs.
*We are a registered not for profit and do not earn a salary, our adoption fees are recycled to help rescue our future dogs. We are always looking for assistance on our team as well as donations to help run our rescue smoothly.
