Hello, my name is Friday...like your 'girl Friday'. I'm very smart, watchful, and inquisitive. I'm a terrior mix, which makes me very smart and brave. I have a crook in my little tail that must have happened when I was born. I like it cause everyone says it makes me "unique"..but of course I'm unique! I love to cuddle, but I'll be your very fierce protector too. Well, I can sound tough, but I'm really just a mini marshmallow. I'm working on house training. I sleep in my own little crate at night just like my foster sisters. I'm learning pretty fast. I like to play with my big foster sisters and would be happy to have other dogs and people to play with. I like to bark at the cats, but it'll be all right if there's a cat in the family as long as it's nice. I'm anxious to find my permanent home soon because I will be a very loyal, loving family member. My sister Patsy got her new home recently and I know my turn will be next. Will you be the lucky person who gives me my new home and family? If you think you might be interested in adopting, your first step should be to complete an adoption application. This avoids the disappointment of someone else has "beating you to it" because they were pre-approved. Processing an application does not take us very long but we do insist that all potential adopters are approved before placing a dog. Applying is very simple. Just log on to our website at Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue and select Adopt a Dog from the menu on the left side of the homepage. Just above the photo gallery you will see Adoption Application giving you a choice of 2 formats. Select one of these and complete the information requested, then save it as a file and e mail it to us. If you do not get a response within 24 hours of sending your application, please call us at 716/326-PAWS. And be sure to check out all the dogs and puppies eagerly awaiting homes.
