"Hi there! My name is Freyja! I was found at an old abandoned house where I been left and I had been living underneath it for awhile. Let me tell you, I was pretty scared and lonely! I didn't know who was my friend so I had to be very careful with anyone who approached. Eventually, I did come out of hiding and greeted a nice human who had come to visit me a few times and she brought me here to the rescue. Even though it was so scary at first, I have really started to trust my care takers and love that I am starting to make new friends here, makes me so happy, I can't help but spin in circles! I am spayed, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. I just want to learn to love and fully trust again. I would do best in a home where I was the only dog or with very friendly, submissive dogs and no cats. A few notes about me - I do like to chase the kitties and I can be pretty protective over my food bowl when it comes to other dogs who try to take it from me. I've had to fend for myself so it's just something I have to work on. I am currently in training and learning how to be a good girl when I walk on the leash. I just need time.
