We have two 5 month old Elkhounds released to us as the owner could not care for them any longer. Freya here, has the darker coat... her sister, Tonka, is lighter. They do not need to be adopted together. Both dogs need socialization with dogs and people, they are not 'chewers', not destructive, do not jump up on you.... Crate training is recommended. They truly are adorable, friendly, playful and happy dogs! These pups seems to be comfortable well with other dogs and cats also!
