My Story

I am the Foster-Mom of Freddie, a beautiful Husky. He was brought to the pound with many fractures to his hind leg. The incident was not reported but was assumed that he was hit by a car. He had a surgery at UC Davis College Veterinary Hospital to remove his leg. He was a great patient to helping college students learn as they helped him. He is a great big brother to my Chihuahua, Daisy. They play fight each night. He is very gentle, Daisy, not so much. He is also fantastic with children! Freddie loves to go on walks. When he is by himself in my backyard, he runs and jumps on his three legs with ease. He does many rounds as he jumps over my short hedges. When he is not doing that he is chasing his tail and just having fun! When Freddie is in the house he has never peed or pooped. He has a crate in the house that he goes in when I leave the house. He goes in by telling him to “Crate Up”. I love Freddie and I know anyone would too. I hope he will soon find his forever home!
