Meet Fred! While you might mistake the melodious singing echoing through the shelter for Frank Sinatra we can promise you that is our one and only pup star, Fred! Brought to ICHS as a stray, this sweet boy is ready to find a fur-ever home. Fred enjoys playing with plushies as well as the shelter staff. He has a lot of energy so he loves getting out to the play yard or trying new toys out in his kennel any chance he gets! Fred also enjoys going for long walks and like many hounds do getting all the sniffs in that he can. Getting a walk-in where they are free to take the time to sniff around their surroundings can tire out a dog the same way exercise would! While Fred enjoys meeting people and is definitely a social butterfly, he can be selective in what dogs he calls his friends. So, a meet and greet will be needed if you have another dog. Overall though, Fred is a friendly dog looking for a home to play and receive all the butt scratches in.
