Hello! My name is Fred. I am a young fella, full of energy, full of love, with no one to share it with. My life so far included being passed around from home to home, with no one wanting to properly care for me. I was kept in a crate, had no one to play with, and felt very lonely. Now that I am here at the shelter, I am very happy to have friends. I was shy and nervous my first day, not used to being paid attention to, but now I love it! I get to hang out with volunteers, I go on walks, everyone pets me, it's the best. I would do best in a home with no other animals, but lots of humans to snuggle. Come meet me today and give me a forever home! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes: - initial canine distemper combination vaccination - first worming or stool check - rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age) - 24 Petwatch microchipping - flea treatment/preventative - spaying or neutering -heartworm testing Adoption fee: $135.00 Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2024 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20) Leash and collar included
