Do you believe in love at first sight?? We are all star struck by Fred, he is simply a wonderful dog looking for a second chance and a new home.
While in foster care Fred was very submissive with the dogs he met, sweet and polite with children. His family described him as 'the perfect gentleman' as he goes out of his way to avoid conflict and prefers to find a sunny napping spot (if your lap is not available).
As a hound Fred's new family will need to plan on having a fenced yard or commit to leash walks. (Please see Beagle descriptions on line for more breed information.) He is a larger boy, weighing just under 40 lbs - what his mix is who knows, but he is practically perfect in temperament.
Fred loves to go riding, likes leash walks and is just an all around great companion dog. Stop in and ask to meet Fred, he will be waiting!
