Freckles came to HHR when his owner could not provide the right amount of exercise for him. She was 80 years old and had adopted him from another rescue. That rescue adopted him to her with only the bare minimum of vet care- vaccinations for distemper and kennel cough. He wasn’t even neutered! They took her money and failed to follow through on promises to reimburse for neuter. Calls for help when she couldn’t keep him went unanswered.
Freckles has a lot of energy and needs room to run. He is a smart boy who does best with female dogs. He plays well with other dogs, particularly the ladies, in his foster home. NO cats!! Freckles would do fine in a home with older kids (12+). If you're looking for the class clown that is active and wants to party with you or go running or hiking, this is your guy.
Freckles is about 2 years old and weights 50 lbs. He is neutered; vaccinated for rabies, distemper, and bordetella; microchipped; and recently tested negative for heartworm and tick diseases. Freckles is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
