My Story

Frasier This very sweet little guy was found by animal control so badly neglected that they couldn't recognize him as a poodle. His hair was so matted that he could hardly move his legs to walk and his mouth was so deteriorated that he could hardly eat and had to have 16 teeth extracted AND on top of all that a bad ear infection. PRNE rescued him and just 2 1/2 weeks later, as you can see, he is a beautiful, very healthy and much happier little man.
Frasier is 10 years old and weighs about 11 lbs. He is timid but friendly and bonds easily. Even with his short little legs he manages to jump up and LOVES to snuggle next to us on the couch. He may have been abused in the past and often flinches when we pet him but he is getting lots of love at his foster home and is deciding that he really likes it! He is opening up, has become very affectionate and is not aggressive in anyway.
Frasier is very verbal about begging for 'people' food but he is learning to eat with the other dogs. He is great on a leash but does not like the car. He is good with children (10 and older) and other dogs. He is completely housetrained, crate trained and amazingly well behaved for his sad beginings.
Frasier would make a wonderful companion so if you are interested in adopting him please fill out an application.
Our application is available online. Please feel free to complete it and send it to us if you're looking to adopt a poodle in the New England area.
