Franklin enjoys chilling out on a summer day under a shade tree. He especially loves it when an LP volunteer is there to give him a tummy rub. Franklin is approximately 2 years old in these pictures taken June 5, 2010.
A nice lady saved Franklin from an abusive home and brought him to LP. He has adjusted well and is a super sweet little guy. The volunteers just love him. Franklin does great with the other dogs. He rides ok in the car and is alright on the leash. Franklin seems to be housebroken and also uses the papers if our director isn’t home in time to let them out. He does enjoy cuddling with people or with Crissy, a Chihuahua. The two of them are pretty close. Franklin sleeps in bed with our director and seems to enjoy sleeping on top of her head. lol
Franklin is up-to-date on shots, is neutered, and has been tested for Heartworms/Lyme/Ehrlichia. He weighted 5.3 pounds when he went to the vet on May 5, 2010. Franklin is on HW preventative.
