Franklin is a super-playful, ultra-snuggly, friendly little guy who has completely forgiven humans for the neglect he suffered as a youngster. He will wait calmly for you while you're out and about or at work, and then bounce with joy when you return.
We believe Franklin may be a purebred Bichon Frise. He was probably born in 2007, and he weighs about 14 lbs.
He loves people of all ages, gets on well with other dogs, and could learn to live with a cat that didn't run. He enjoys toys, but his biggest source of pleasure is just to go sniffing around the yard, or take walks with his foster family.
Franklin has a gimpy leg that cannot be repaired, according to our vet. It looks a bit odd - but he reckons he's cute anyway, and it doesn't slow him down one bit! (Vet records will be made available prior to adoption.)
Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this little sweetheart will come to you sterilized, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and treated for internal and external parasites. An adoption fee of $200 will help offset the cost of his care.
