My Story
The Massachusetts Colonies Litter is here! We have 3 males (Danvers, Rowley, and Frankie) and 3 females (Ashby, Chelsea, and Essex). These 6 pups were born in MA, and they are ready to travel in search of their furever families! Frankie is a super chill pup, affectionately known by his foster family as “Frank the Tank,” as he’s a BIG pup (& going to be a GIANT dog!), who has a booty that waddles when he walks! Frankie is learning all about how to be a good dog, and already comes when called, is crate trained, and walks well on leash. He has mastered the use of the doggie door to take himself outside to go potty, and is learning his basic commands. This social guy is laid-back with other dogs, interested in the cats (but is gentle and doesn’t bother them), and non-reactive to bunnies. He’s being raised in a home with dogs, cats, and kids, and loves meeting new people! Frankie has bursts of energy when he wants to play, and then crashes hard, always able to find a cool place to nap wherever he is, whether that’s indoors or outside. This big boy is quiet, rides well in the car, and wants to be held on his back, with his belly up and ready for rubs! He has a fondness for antlers, cheese, and splashing in the water! - He is crossing his paws that his furever family has a kiddie pool! Frankie will require a home with a secure fenced yard and a canine sibling who he can look up to for advice and to help him learn the ropes and routine. If you’re looking for an easy-going pup who wants as much human loving as he can get, look no further than Frankie!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.
Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
