Frank ADOPTED:)

Frank and siblings were an unwanted litter of puppies. Easiest way to not have this happen is to please spay and neuter your pets. Anyway, the owner contacted rescue near Decorah, Iowa where he lives but they were full. So we were contacted and took all 8 puppies in right away because owner threatened to shoot them. The rescue near Decorah is going help get the mother dog spayed thank goodness. All puppies went to our vet and got 1st shots and were dewormed. They are now living in a foster home.

1/29/10 Frank is about 8 or 9 weeks old. Frank is the first puppy to run up to you in the group. He's a sweetie and loves to snuggle up to you. However, he also is the one that will play bite the most so he will need to learn that it isn't an acceptable way to get attention!

2/23/10 UPDATE: He's a fun loving spunky fella who is just absolutely gorgeous! He loves to hang out with his foster brother, Simon who looks like a big version of Frank. He also loves to play with the kitties and cats and he's great with them too. He's doing a lot better in his crate and hasn't had an accident in it in the last few days. He is a little spoiled as he gets to sleep in bed with our 18 year old daughter who has taken over a lot of the fostering respsonsibilities. He is now housetrained in our home. He scratxhes at the door when he needs to go out.

All puppies are very sweet and looking for love. All are of course puppies with lots of energy! They will need an owner who has patience and the time to work with them and train them. The foster home will be working to crate train them and housetrain them. They will need continued training in a new home.

Please be ready for the challenges of a puppy before adopting one....this little boy comes with a ton of love, but puppies are also a lot of work. Please have the time and commitment for a puppy before adoption.

Frank must be neutered by his adopter when he is old enough and proof is required.

Will someone please adopt Frank and give him a forever home? $95.00 adoption fee. ($50 is a neuter deposit you will get back once we receive proof of his neuter spay so that makes his adoption fee actually only $45)

To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
