Please give a warm welcome to Francis, the newest member of PugHearts! If you enjoy pondering about what a dog is thinking and appreciate an old soul, then he might be the perfect companion for you! This pug is straightforward and simply desires to snuggle up next to his human on the couch without any disturbances. He also enjoys leisurely walks outdoors from time to time. Although he may initially come across as mellow like Eeyore, he absolutely adores cuddling and will bring a smile to your face. Travis is crate and leash trained but is currently in the process of being potty trained. He tolerates the energetic and playful young dogs in our household, but he may prefer a calmer environment. We’ve found him to be very interested in our cats and he will chase them at times, but he is generally well-behaved. Francis is 4 years old and has an apricot coat with a loose cinnamon tail. He is heartworm positive (HW+) and will begin treatment in April. Once he completes his treatment, he will be ready for adoption.
