My name is Francesca. I am approximately 14 weeks old (07/05/2024). I am the cutest, sweetest girl you have ever met. My foster mom found me wandering around a Walmart parking lot by myself. She took me to the customer service desk in the store to inquire if anyone knew who I was or if anyone was looking for me. The answer was no. One of the employees told me people dump them there all the time. Sometimes, the puppies are found wandering around the parking lot, and other times, they are found in a basket, just sitting, waiting for their owner to come to claim them. Just heartbreaking, Francesca's foster mom thought. So, she picked up some puppy food and loaded her into the cab of her semi-truck. That was a month ago and a few thousand miles later. Francesca is timid about meeting new people. Once she figures out the people are nice, she warms right up. She is dog and cat social. Her foster mom has been home these last few days, so Francesca has gotten exposed to horses and chickens, too. Francesca is looking for a family who has patience and time to work on her overcoming her shyness. She would love to go hiking and even learn agility, for she is very smart.
