Fozzy

Hello, my name is Fozzy. I am a male neutered, Poodle. I am black with silver, approximately 10 years old. I was found wandering in someones yard. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have cataracts in both eyes, my vision isn't quite what it used to be but I can still see. I have had bloodwork done and had my heart checked out. The old ticker is just fine, no murmurs or abnormalities. My bloodwork showed that I had an elevated white blood cell count. This is due to the fact that I have an infection, I am in need of some dental work. The infection is being treated with antibiotics, once it clears up, I will be having some teeth extracted. My back legs aren't in the greatest shape, I have trouble with my knees. I can still walk although I am a little hunched over. Other than that, I am perfect. Now, lets get to my personality. The staff will tell you I am one awesome guy. I will let out a little cry when I need to go potty. I am taken outside to do my business, it feels so good to roll in the grass and have the earth under my feet. I really like being held, and falling asleep on your lap would be one of the greatest gifts I could ask for. Should you decide to adopt me, I promise to give unconditional love and companionship for the rest of my life. Keep in mind that I will need someone special who will be able to care for me and take me to doctors appointments if and when needed. Now don't get me wrong, I love the ladies at the shelter but a nice comfortable place to call home is what I truly want. Remember me, I am Fozzy. I will be patiently waiting for you. Here is a little update on me. I went to the vet today (4-7) to have some teeth extracted. They had to remove eight teeth from me. I'm a little out of it right now, on pain meds and all. They say I should be feeling better in a few days. I don't envy anyone who has to have dental work done. Take care of your teeth, brush and floss daily. Take it from someone who has been there and done that. I am still waiting to be adopted.....
