My Story

Fozzie Bear is just one huge bundle of energy ! Around 14 - 16 weeks old he appears to be a Golden mix and looks like he will be quite large when mature. He relates well to people and is confident around everything and everybody. Currently in foster care, he's adjusting to his surroundings very quickly. He's a very intelligent pup and learns fast. In just 5 minutes he learned to "sit" before being fed, despite being ravenous ! As he is sharing a home with 3 dogs and 5 cats he is quickly learning his manners around other animals. This pup will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. To assist us in the efficient and most appropriate placement for Fozzie, please read the following notes about the adoption process :- Puppies are ALWAYS a popular choice for adoptions, therefore there are many more applicants than available young puppies. If you are convinced that you can provide the time, energy, commitment and secure loving environment a puppy requires, then your first step should be to complete an adoption application. This avoids the disappointment of someone else has "beating you to it" because they were pre-approved. Processing an application does not take us very long but we do insist that all potential adopters are approved before placing a puppy. Applying is very simple. Just log on to our website at www.caninerescue.org and select Adopt a Dog from the menu on the left side of the homepage. Just above the photo gallery you will see "Adoption Application" giving you a choice of 2 formats. Select one of these and complete the information requested then save the file and send as an attachment If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours that your application has been received, please call 716-326-PAWS. It is not necessary to nominate a particular puppy at this stage - if you have a preference by all means put down the pup's name on your application, but it is always best to see several pups before selecting your one special companion. We look forward to receiving your completed application - remember to complete all sections to avoid any delays in processing !
Call 716/326-PAWS for an appointment. And be sure to check out all the dogseagerly awaiting homes on our Web site, www.caninerescue.org.
