Meet Foxy, a sweet and gentle 8-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs in at a petite 13 pounds. Foxy may come off as a little timid when you first meet her, but give her some time to warm up, and she’ll quickly show you her loving and affectionate side. A true lap dog at heart, Foxy loves nothing more than snuggling up close to soak in all the attention she can get. Though we haven't observed her in a home setting yet, Foxy is comfortable resting and sleeping in her kennel and hasn't had any accidents there. She’s a mellow girl who would thrive in a variety of homes, but due to her older age and shy nature, she might do best with older children. Foxy would be happy as a solo dog, basking in all the love and attention, but she may also do well in a home with another mild-mannered canine companion to help grow her confidence.
