Forest is a wonderful dog. He has been at the shelter for way too long, as others are chosen before him, and yet his demeanor is always pleasant. Forrest knows a number of commands and is friendly, playful and affectionate, once he gets to know you. He is slow to warm up to strangers, so it is recommended that he be contained/crated when company comes over until he gets to know them. He does well on leash and loves to walk. He is a favorite of some of the volunteers and they enjoy walking him. We are hoping that someone will see what they do in Forest and give him a loving home.
