Forest -

Forest was picked up running stray in town but his owners decided not to pay his impound fees. He's a happy and friendly young fellow - approx 7 months old (Apr 3/10). He is already a big boy, so will be a large dog when fully grown. He's got thick golden hair and pink stripe down his nose. He gets along with other dogs and loves to walk and play with Olive and Ginger (other adoptable dogs) at the shelter. He walks well on leash and also does well when walking loose with other dogs, coming back when called and sticking with "the pack" as well as close to the person walking the dogs. Forest seems like he would be a very loyal dog who would stay close to his owner. He is wonderful and will make a great companion. He appears to be a golden retriever cross of some sort. Forest has already been neutered, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations so is ready to go to his forever home right away!
