Meet Forest! Forest is a beautiful 18 month old Scottie boy who was given to us by a shelter in Arkansas. When we received the call from the shelter that they had a Westie, one of our wonderful volunteers in Arkansas wasted no time in getting to the little town where he was incarcerated. When she got to the shelter and saw that he wasn't a Westie, she sprang him from the joint anyway and we brought him back to Oklahoma. Boy are we glad we did! Forest is such a wonderful doggie. He LOVES everyone, human and canine alike. He loves to play, play, play with his foster brothers and sisters.

At 27 pounds, he thinks he is as small as the Westies in the house and tries to fit in his people's laps just as he sees others do. He is learning to walk on a leash and is 90% potty trained.

Forest is a super sweet, loving, and extremely gentle dog, and if you have a big heart and have a lot of love to give a puppy please consider Forest. He’ll give you big love right back and he gives the best kisses in the world.

Forest is staying in a Private home in the Tulsa area.

Oklahoma Westie Rescue will only adopt to applicants who reside within the following states: OK, AR, MO, KS and TX. If you live outside these areas OR if you have children under the age of 10, please do not apply for this dog.

We do not ship our pets. If you are interested in this dog please click here for our adoption application. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma City, OK, to pick up this dog in person if your application is approved.
