Foo Man Chew is a male Shih Tzu estimated to be 3 years old weighing 14 pounds. He came to the shelter as a stray so his history is unknown. Foo Man Chew is a small dog with a BIG personality! He's your typical Shih Tzu, vocal (barks at everything and nothing & grumbles). Affectionate on his terms-likes to be near people/person. Enjoys walks, loves his toys (so much so, you CANNOT take them from him. Due to his resource guarding no children under 12 should be in the home. Treat motivated. Does well on car rides. Regular professional grooming needed, did well, overall, at the groomer. Needs work on housebreaking, routine in a home will help. His adoption fee is $250, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $20.75. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today!
