Flint

This cheerful and most delightful youngster is Flint! He’s about eight months old, a lanky 44 pounds, and sports some stylish white toes and a patch on his chest. Flint was rescued from a small rural shelter where prospects for adoption and a happy ending were not on the horizon. Now here he is with us ready for lots of lovin’ in a forever home! Speaking of a lovin’ home, Flint is relishing life with his foster dad and two foster brothers. “The beds are soft and my foster dad makes a great dish of dog food; life is good here!” he wags. Flint is putting the finishing touches on his house training and knows the command “Potty” when taken outside. His repertoire also includes “Sit”. Flint walks pretty well on leash though he does tend to get the “zigzags” now and then. Our happy pup loves people and is an exuberant greeter who’s never met a stranger. When it comes to other dogs, “’Playfull is my middle name!” he woofs. Don’t know about cats. Flint gives toys and retrieving two paws up. Being a young one, he needs approved chewables. It’s also best not to leave a steak or sandwich out on the counter! If it’s OK with you, he enjoys time on the sofa with you. He loves to be close. His foster dad adds: “Overall Flint is a very good natured, loving, playful guy - he's just a puppy and everything is new and exciting. His confidence has increased and he just wants to be loved. The best home for Flint will be an active one that can give him regular exercise and continue to give attention to his basic training. They need to appreciate that a puppy gets into mischief! I think he needs another active playful dog to interact and play with in his new family.” Flint is delighted to have a new start in life and seems quite adaptable and eager to please. He’s got such a happy eager face, he can’t help but make you smile!
