Fletcher

Fletcher is a very sweet older pure-bred Italian Greyhound.  He is very dedicated to the people around him and loves attention.  He is very much a lap dog.  Fletcher's history is unknown, but we got him from the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha where he had been turned in by his previous owner.  He had a severe skin condition, and after treatment it has cleared up and is now gone.  It may have been allergies, a bacteria or fungus the vets were not sure exactly of the cause.  We did put him on a potato based food (rather than grain) incase it was allergies and his coat is now shiney and healthy.  Fletcher is a little over 9 years old, but very active for his age.  He loves to play with the other dogs outside.  He is very well housetrained (at regular intervals), and he is good about going in his kennel.  He will bark some in his kennel when he wants attention, but quiets down after a couple of minutes only.  Only if they were all this easy.  Fletcher would be fine in a home with other small dogs, or as a single pet.  He is currently being fostered in Lincoln, NE.  Fletcher is already neutered and up-to-date on shots, so please email him and let him know you are ready to give him some scratches behind is ear.
