My Story

Flash (97-087) is cute little guy who was returned to BHRG due to a divorce. He's about 8 years old and is mostly red & white with a hint of black in his coat. Flash is a smaller basset and is just a very happy and loving fellow. He's a very low-maintenance dog. Sometimes you forget he's around. Flash has his brief silly spells where he barks and does his little "Flash Dance", but then he's ready to curl back up on the couch. Flash is a talker and likes to tell you when he needs attention. In the mornings, he and his foster mom like to sing together. He makes his foster family laugh everyday with his choice of sleeping places since they never know where he wants to sleep - Sometimes it's the crate; sometimes it's the bed. He has to sleep on every other dog's bed at least once! One day, when he couldn't be found in any of his usual spots, he was curled up in the spare bedroom closet in a pile of blankets! Flash is a very independent boy and decides things for himself.. He does great with other dogs as long as they give him space as he needs it. He does play sometimes with the three female bassets that he lives with and is fine with kids too if they respect his space. Flash is completely housebroken and does great with the dog door.
