Flash is a purebred, tri-color(with spots) basset hound. He is estimated by the vet to be approx 5-6 years old and has had a very hard life. He was abused by his previous owners and rescued. He is now in foster care. He is very friendly once he gets to know you but may be timid and afraid when he first meets new people(most likely due to the abuse that he has suffered). He is neutered(a home-done job from what we have been told..another example of the abuse this dog has endured), he is UTD with his vacc, has been dewormed and started on flea control. Flash did test positive for heartworms but has been started on microfilaricide. He is housebroken and loves to sleep in the bed with his foster mom. Flash likes other dogs, cats and would probably be great with kids that he gets to know. He loves to ride in the car and is just a great dog!!
