Meet Fish, a 2-month-old female Shepherd/Heeler mix. Fish is a social and outgoing lady. She is difficult to picture because she is so happy and wants to wiggle all around for attention. Fish loves people and seems to like other dogs too, enjoying the photographers grumpy dog. Fish was found by some wonderful people as a stray all alone in the city of Yakima. They wanted to keep her but sadly were limited by their housing situation. They said that Fish is a wonderful and loving girl. She is smart and eager to please. This pet is available for adoption on 8/6/24 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
