My Story

Fiona is a sweet and scruffy little girl about 6 months old. Fiona has a sweet and milder mannered disposition. She is a sweetheart who loves to be fussed over and get attention from everyone here but will let the other pups come forward first, she isn’t a pushy girl (or at least hasn’t found that side of herself yet). Fiona loves playing with all sorts of toys, balls, stuffed animals and chewies alike. She enjoys having canine friends to play with and gets along with all the puppies here at the shelter. Fiona weighs in at about 10 pounds and is mostly done growing (she is tall and lanky so could put on some weight but we don’t think she will get much taller) so will stay a small size. We are not sure about her family tree but it looks like she may have some Brussels Griffon or other type of Terrier mixed into her background. Fiona is a rescue from Puerto Rico so we don’t know much about her past but we can say her future is looking bright! Because she is a little bit of quieter (and older rescued puppy) and her small size she is looking for a family with children 10 years and older. If you have the time and patience for a young rescue then Fiona may be the one for your family so stop in today. Before making the trip to visit we strongly recommend checking our website for information on adoption policies and procedures. Pets can be adopted quickly, and although we update our pet list daily the puppy or kitten you see on our website before you leave may be adopted by the time you arrive. To inquire about a pet's availability or for more information please visit our website www.capeannanimalaid.com or phone the shelter (978-283-6055) instead of sending emails as emails are not always answered on a daily basis. Because we are a busy place and because so many animals need our care and attention, adoptions are on a first come basis and no animal will be put on hold, we appreciate your understanding and look forward to your visit!
