Meet Fiona, a 5-year-old Loaf of Bread. We actually don't know what mixes are in Fiona. What we do know is that she is a fabulous girl that loves attention. Fiona has a solid coffee table like build. She does good on her leash and will sit right down for treats. Fiona came into the shelters care after her owner was taken into custody. Sadly, YHS has not received any contact about getting her back and we need to find her a loving forever home now. This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
