My Story

7/14/2004 FINN is a 5 year old large (135 lbs) Bernese Mountain Dog/Lab mixed neutered male who has been at the shelter for over 4 months. He was originally only suppose to be here for a few weeks while his owner found a new place to live, but his owner never came back for him. He is a very friendly, personable dog who didn't deserve to be abandoned. Finn loves other dogs he meets while on his walk. He is friendly and very playful with them.

When in his "home" he will be protective, food and water are important to Finn and he does not like to share with other pets. Finn would most likely do best in a one dog home. .

Finn loves to go for walks or just lay around. It would be great if he were adopted into a home where there was ample room for exercise, though he would be happy anywhere as long as he is loved!

The size of him is just an indication of the love he can give to you, and ask little in return. To meet or find out more about Finn, please call the phone number listed under his picture.

Every once in awhile a special "pet" comes into our lives, Finn is one them!
