Hi, my name is Finn (a.k.a. Roo). I was rescued at the last moment, REALLY! I was found in a box in the woods with my 9 siblings and taken to a shelter. The shelter couldn’t keep us so as prearranged it was our day to be euthanized. The shelter has a contract with a vet and that is where me and my siblings were taken. The vet techs fell in love and immediately got on the phone to try and save our lives. They had until closing to find us foster homes. I was the shy one out of the group and huddled in the back of the kennel away from everyone. A S.A.F.E. volunteer was contacted but she could only choose two because the S.A.F.E. foster homes were full. As she entered the room all my siblings ran to greet her but I stayed in the back. The vet techs were scared that I would never be chosen because I was sooooo timid. The S.A.F.E. volunteer loved on everyone and then she reached in the back and took me in her arms. I heard her say I’ll take this one! Me! Little ole’ me was going to be safe! I am now in a foster home with my sister and we are doing great! I am still a little shy but if you are willing to get on the floor to play with me, I will hop around like a kangaroo and play with you all day long. My foster parents think it is hilarious! I really hop just to make them laugh. I am crate trained and trained to go potty on a newspaper. I do have a tendency to pick up anything I find on the floor, just to play with of course. I am 8 weeks old and ready for my forever home so if interested please contact [email protected] and give my sister and I a second (I guess you could say a third) chance to live a happy life!
WE FINALIZE EVERY ADOPTION WITH A HOME VISIT THEREFORE POTENTIAL HOMES MUST BE WITHIN A HOURS DRIVE TIME OF CHARLOTTE NC. A FOSTER PET WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO SOMEONE LIVING OUTSIDE THE ADOPTION AREA NOR WILL ANYONE BE ALLOWED TO COME PICK A PET UP FROM US. YOU MUST BE 21 TO ADOPT FROM OUR GROUP.
