My Story

Howdy, my name is Finn and I am a little 13-lb male Norfolk Terrier, maybe Border Terrier mix? Heck, no one really knows what I am except CUTE! I've had it a little rough during the first part of my life. When it was really hot I was left chained outside without any food and water - I would have died if Richmond Animal Control hadn't found me! As you can see in my "before" picture I was really, really skinny and had lost a lot of my hair to non-contagious mange. Any way, I've been in a foster home and fattened up and grown my hair back so now I am looking and feeling GREAT! I am a young terrier which means I'm an active little man. I love to play, play, play with toys and other dogs. I need to go to a home with a dog that either has my same energy level or is tolerant as sometimes I may want to keep playing when my doggy friend is tired! I've made huge progress in the housebreaking department and I'm almost there but I do still have the occasional accident so my new owner needs to be patient also. I have to have a fenced in yard because I love to run around and play outside. I really am a fantastic little guy and once you meet me you'll love me! If you think you can give me the perfect furever home give FURS a call! **Applications are being taken on Finn. He must go to a home in the Richmond area with a fenced in yard. No small children and because of his age and activity level he is not suitable for an elderly owner. Applications can be completed on line at www.fursdogs.com
