My Story

Ashley and Domenic had just bought a house in North Van. and were looking for just the right active, large breed dog to join their lives. After a couple of play-dates, Finley now Rosco, came home for good!

Finley is the runt of the litter. He likes to be on or around laps at all times, glues to them with affection. He will be ready to go to his new home on or after Dec. 27th- at which point he will be 8 weeks old, neutered, and ready for a loving family of his own. His family has ensured that Finley is very well-socialized in preperation for him becoming an amazing adult dog.

Finley and his siblings were brought to the vet to be euthanized after their mom was hit by a car and killed. They were only a week old, and their owner was unwilling to put the work in to raise them himself. Thankfully local foster mom Kristen stepped up to take these 4 in, and then Pam and Tracey stepped in to raise them. Not a small feet when it means bottle feeding them every couple of hours!

Thanks to such great care, they are all thriving, and are all named after their will to survive. Mom of these pups was a Rottweiler, Dad was apparently a hound. One of the pups looks like a rottie (being adopted by his foster parents), the other 3 boys look like Bluetick Coonhounds, and are in need of loving homes. Two very different breeds with very different personalities! Please research both breeds before applying for one of these cuties. Here are a couple of links to get you started!

They are currently 3 weeks old, and will not be ready until for their new homes until after they reach 8 weeks, around Dec. 27th. We are currently accepting applications for them in preparation of them being ready for their new homes.

Before applying, also research whether you are ready for a puppy. They are a ton of work! They eat, poo, chew, cry, sleep for a couple of minutes, and then do it all over again. then be prepared for this puppy to need tons of training in preparation for him becoming a large breed adult dog that will live for the next 15 or so years.

These pups will be neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, microchipped, and tattooed prior to adoption. Their adoption is $200 to help cover these costs. It is mandatory that these guys attend puppy and basic obedience classes to ensure a well-behaved and happy family member!

if interested in them, the first step is to fill in an application at http://www.bullybuddies.org/adoptioninfo.htm
