My Story

The adoption donation of $300 includes already completed spay/neuter, vaccinations, and deworming & monthly dose of heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. The retail value of all of these services if performed at a private veterinarian is $600.

FINLAY, is very young just 1 year-old and weighs 25 pounds. Poor little Beagle/Hound mix was found running as a stray without identification. Sadly, this often happens when people purchase America's favorite hound dog and do not keep tabs on them. Scent hounds, will find a way to scout the world and need to be supervised in a fenced in yard. FINLAY, followed his basic instincts into what could have been a tragic situation. Fortunately, Animal Control officers were able to bring him to safety. He is a nice dog, that is currently a little skittish at first. This behavior will soon diminish as he becomes adjusted to life in his foster home. FINLAY, has a moderate energy level, and enjoys downtime. He will be a great candidate for obedience classes that are held at most pet emporiums at minimum cost. Lessons learned and followed up at home result in a happy household for many years. FINLAY, is adorable and will be a perfect companion to his new family. He bonds easily and does not require grooming. This little guy, just needs to be kept close at hand, and who would want a precious friend to get away. To meet and bring home one nice little guy please fill out the Animal Alliance online application.

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details.

Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. We adopt many animals each week and meet prospective adopters at various locations so they can meet the animals they are interested in.
