At the end of October a homeless man who I saw often had a little pup with him. When I asked about him he said he had saved him from being used as a bait dog in a Pit Bull fight ring but he couldn't keep him and needed to find him a home. He was underweight and had no shots but was the sweetest pup on the planet. I got him fixed up and we moved out to Brooklyn. The thought of giving him up breaks my heart. I need to know that he is going to go somewhere safe and loving.
Figs is a very handsome pit/lab/boxer mix of about 7 months old. He is affectionate and curious and loves all people and animals. He has a lot of energy so he needs a home where he has some space or someone who will run with him. He loves peanut butter, anything that bounces and anything with fluff that he can take apart. He is very smart, know the basics, and with a bit more training could do more complicated tasks and tricks.
