My Story

My foster mom describes me as: easy-going, sweet, affectionate AND respectful! I'm the total package at 8 years old and 32 lbs. I'm likely a pug mix. I LOVE the couch and cuddling up next to you.I prefer a calmer envirnoment, including calm other dogs! Short walks to avoid overheating are preffered. My foster mom says I am leash and house-trained. I'm so polite I haven't needed a crate during my time here. She seriously loves having me as a guest because of my sweet nature and excellent house manners. I get a very itchy bad reaction to fleas so I MUST be kept on prevention.I'm a quiet guy unless you start a group howling, and then I will sing you a song (it's hilarious!). I'm neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. My adoption fee is $200. Apply today at mpravl.org! All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at [email protected] for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
