Happy and outgoing, one year old Fielder is a distinctively handsome, very light yellow -- almost white--trim 70 pound boy. This young fellow's ears and kind face have a subtle hint of dappled freckles suggesting one Lab parent was smitten by someone mysterious.
Fielder is lapping up the good life in his foster home. He's housetrained, crate trained and knows sit. He's quite good on leash walks, rides well in the car and is working on a greeting that's a little less up close and personal. Fielder is friendly with all, but being a sensitive guy, he's a little shy at first. He's enjoying his three canine foster siblings and everyone gets along well.
Fielder's foster mom tells us that overall he's calm and easy going. He's active and playful, but settles easily. She adds: "He's sweet and affectionate. He loves being petted, being near us, going to the dog park and snoozing on his dog bed. He sleeps quietly all night in our room with the 'pack'. He's not much into retrieving or treats yet, but he really loves to sniff when out and about! Toys are new to him and he’s starting to get into chewing on a Nylabone."
Being a rather sensitive pup, Fielder will thrive in a quieter household where he'll have the continued leadership, training and exercise that a youngster thrives on. "Hey, and don't forget the lovin' too!" woofs Fielder.
So grab a leash and come meet affectionate, easy going and playful young Fielder . . . we bet you won't be going home alone!
