Ferris- pending ad

Ferris is a 5 month old Shepherd Husky Cross. He came to our shelter on November 16/09 when he was rescued from the streets of Loon Lake. He is a very friendly and playful pup who gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. He loves to be active and has been going for walks with volunteers, both on and off leash. He is a very good dog off leash and will stick close by and not wander off too far and will come running back when called. When he is on leash he sticks by your side and doesn't pull too much, which is excellent for a dog his age. He would do great as an only dog or with a companion. This guy just wants to be loved! He is very social and enjoys any and all attention. He has been well socialized with our young volunteers. He appears to be catching on to house training as he makes minimal mess in his kennel when he has access to the outdoors through a dog door. Ferris has sprouted in size since coming to our shelter. We estimate that he will be a large dog once fully grown. Puppies that are not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption will require a $300 refundable (upon proof of surgery being presented to MLDHS) spay/neuter deposit.
