My Story

Fergalicious is a fun-loving pup who absolutely adores giving kisses and playing with his puppy pals! He would thrive with an active family who loves outdoor adventures—whether it’s hiking, running, or playing in the backyard. Mr. Fergie has a wiggle when he walks that is just too cute. His silly personality and sweet demeanor will bring joy to your life every day! He gets along well with other dogs and is an option for a home with a resident pup pending a meet-and-greet. Fergalicious is a very loyal dog and is up for anything as long as he’s by your side. Here’s what his previous foster had to say: “Fergie is extremely loyal, playful, and affectionate. He bonds incredibly quickly and just wants to please his people. One he trusts someone, he will give lots of kisses and put his head in their lap for pets. He is adorable to have around -- he will sit in any room you're in and watch everything you're doing, sniffing anything you touch but never chewing anything he shouldn't. He's also super smart -- he's always paying close attention to his people, making him super easy to train! Fergie really just wants to connect with people and be loved…Fergie is such a sweetheart and still a big puppy. He is goofy and curious about everything, and just wants to cuddle and play. He bonds with his people more quickly than I've ever seen a dog bond, and he is incredibly loyal and eager to please. He'll completely steal your heart -- my partner was reluctant to help me foster initially, but within a week had fallen in love with Fergie and was asking if we could keep him (we would if there was any way we could make dog ownership work right now). If you are willing to put in a bit of training work upfront, he will be the perfect dog and give you nonstop entertainment and love…Fergie's ideal home would be with an active and loving family that wants to take him on their adventures. His people would ideally have some time, especially early on, to devote to training him so he can feel fully comfortable even when left alone. I also think he would benefit from a home with another playful dog to show him the ropes! Likes hiking, having walks, playing with squeaky toys, and playing with other dogs. A family with big dog experience with no younger kids and no elderly adults. Responsively active, but have time for snuggles. Two to three walks a day would be best. If there is a resident dog, him/her should be around the same size.”
